Monster Island was The Asylum's 2019 mockbuster and it was released just in time for Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Monster Island is an island where a monster lives.


Asylum is able to afford a big kid's meal, but it uses it wisely. The focus of the film is on a few people and its major celebrities are kept in one set. This allows them to record their sequences during lunch breaks. The Asylum is not likely to be too successful in this kaiju genre.
